You will receive a starter culture (50+) scuds, shipped in a breather bag. Scuds, also known as amphipods, gammarus, or their scientific name Hyalella azteca, are extremely hardy and prolific. They produce large numbers of tiny juveniles, and the adults are a perfect size to appeal to fish of a wide range of sizes. Here is my video explaining how to culture them: They can also be included in a Daphnia culture, where both species will thrive. If you buy both species together, you get a 10% discount. USPS Priority Shipping is included. A 72-hour heat pack is $2.00. .
