Description

Hello, I have some live Grindal Worm cultures. These worms are great for larger fry and smaller adult fish. My Killies and guppies go crazy for them. I have had grindal worms live as long as 3 days in water. That gives your fish plenty of time to enjoy them. These are starter cultures, they are not meant to be cultured in there shipping containers. When you receive them please place them in a plastic container with coconut fiber. I've never used anything except coconut fiber and it works great. I feed all my worms dry Gerber's oatmeal baby food. I have read that rice flour, regular out meal, or cat food work. Although I've never tried any of that. If placed in a 4 by 6 inch food storage container, with coconut fiber, and taken care of properly you should have a great working culture in 3-6 weeks depending on temperature. Grindal worms will survive, breed, and thrive in warmer temps(80F+). However I like to keep mine in the basement where the temps stay around 60F. This makes the culture less attractive to fruit flies. I tried hard to make sure there are no fruit flies (eggs or larvae) in my cultures although I can't guarantee it. They don't hurt anything and are more food for the fish. Shipping on all my auctions is included in the price. Since I do live in an area that can become a frozen wasteland I will include a heatpack if the weather makes it necessary. If for some reason there is problem with the shipping or quality. Please send me pictures and a description immediately. It will be handled on case by case bases. Please check the weather in you area before bidding. I can pack for cold weather but not for extreme heat. I only except paypal please send payment to jasonmdonat@gmail.com
