Grindal Worm Starter Culture + Feeder Kit

No need to go on a scavenger hunt. Save time and money by getting a starter culture and a feeder kit at the same time.

Grindal Worm Starter Culture

Grindal worms are easy to raise and great food for your fish. I culture them in coir (coconut fiber) and feed whole grain, dry baby food supplemented with fish food. This is a 4 inch diameter (8 oz) deli container,about 1 5/8 inches tall. It is about half filled with coir from my main culture and is teeming with worms. But this is not a ready-to-feed culture and it will take up to a month to become productive. I also sell larger cultures that you can start feeding right away, check my other auctions or email me if you don't see one.

Feeder Kit

The feeder kit has everything you need to harvest your worms and feed them to your fish. It contains:

• Lee's Large Cone Worm Feeder #10525. Great for feeding top or mid level fish.

• 2 – Extra Long Pipettes (12 inches). Great for feeding fry, bottom dwellers and shy fish.

• Harvesting Grid (approx. 10x7 inches). The easiest and cleanest way to harvest your worms. Simply place the plastic grid on top of some food. Add more food on top, moisten thoroughly and cover with glass or plastic. If you have a productive culture, it will soon be covered with worms. Grid is easily cut to fit any size culture.
