Description

Daphnia Magna Culture

These Daphnia are raised indoors, so there's no potential for unwelcome hitchhikers.They are fed a blend of spirulina powder and bakers yeast. You will receive a fish bag containing 8 oz of water with lots of daphnia of all sizes. They move pretty fast and some are quite small, so I can't count them. But there will be hundreds and if they are happy they can double their numbers in a matter of days.

There are lots of ways to raise them, but these do well in a very simple set-up. A couple of quart sized containers can provide a decent amount for a single tank of fish. Included will be instructions for raising them.
