Auction
This auction is for:
1. One deli container of established culture/medium directly from my culture.
2. Worm food
3. The remainder of the medium-sized USPS box filled with my special worm medium. The worm bedding is my personal blend, its ph adjusted and sodium reduced.
Culturing this worm is a must for the serious hobbyist. White worms are about the same size as tubifex worms. They live for days bouncing around on the tank bottom. They are extremely high in protein making them perfect for conditioning and breeding.
Guarantee
Live delivery of all cultures is guaranteed. If you are unsuccessful at starting the culture, within one month, I will replace the worms if you pay shipping of $6.00.
Payment & Shipping
Paypal: killifishes@yahoo.com
Shipping is included in the auction price. Shipped USPS Priority in a medium box. A ship date is provided so expect the package in 2 to 3 days. Have someone home to receive the package so its not outside in the elements.
Culturing
Container:
Sandwich and shoe-box containers work great.
Medium:
Most potting soils, WalMart worm bedding, coco fiber, or peat moss. Keep moist but not wet.
Food:
Soggy breads, cereals, baby food, oatmeal, fish food, baked potato, leftovers, quality cat food, etc.
Temp:
They like to be kept cool. Warmer temps wont kill the culture but they stop reproducing over 65 degrees. During the summer my cultures are kept in a cool spot in my garage. If youre in an extremely hot climate you can put a frozen water bottle in the culture each day.
Harvesting:
They gather in a mass around their food so they are easily scooped up with a fork.
