Daphnia magna starter culture (about 2500), but usually send extra. Excellent for discus, betta, cichlids, etc. Feeding live foods will stimulate our discus to start breeding. We keep them in rubbermaid tubs outside all year, very easy to keep, almost maintance free. They can also be kept inside. Money order, cashiers check or Paypal accepted (Paypal payee will be dallasdiscus@yahoo.com) Live delivery Guaranteed except shipping/handling. We use double bags with 100% oxygen for shipment. We ship mon-weds only by USPS priority mail to avoid weekend delay, express overnight available. priority mail shipping included..For all you need to know about daphnia/moina visit www.dallasdiscus.com/daphnia.htm Make sure you have old fish or aged water to put them in. Even dechlorated tap water after 1 week will kill them!! They are very sensitive to tap water chemicals(heavy metals). A few of our customers have had this problem. They die after a few hours in new water. They are used to test pollutions in body of water.
