Description

For sale is one quarter cup ziplock bag of my super Daphnia/Moina food. This food is so fine and so dense that it can last several months (depending on culture size and production) and produce 10s of thousands Daphnia and Moina. Only a tiny amount of this food is required.

This is the food I use to feed my cultures that I am selling here. With this food I am producing so many Daphnia and Moina that I am not only selling thousands of them here, but also feeding my fish and giving some away to friends.

I have done lots of research on what food is best for Daphnia and Moina and finally designed my own solution. Yeast fouls the water too quickly and kills your culture. Green water is made up of too many different algae, many of which are not easily digestible by Daphnia/Moina. Plus, sooner or later green water takes over your culture and either suffocates it or makes slows down your culture. All kinds of self-made food items rely on hearsay and are mostly too course for the daphnia to eat because hobbyists just don't have the right equipment to produce super-fine dust-like powder.

My "Super Food" is a super-fine "dust-like" powder food that stays in the water column until the daphnia/moina actually ingest it. No home equipment can produce such fine powder. I have chosen this food to have a *complete* nutritional profile with high protein and *all* essential amino acids in addition to Omega 3 and vitamins. There is *no* food like this one on the market. It will grow your Daphnia/Moina in record time and at record speed and only a tiny little bit at a time is required! The great thing is that this food can also be used to feed other filter feeders, including Artemia, rotifers and copepods! The best thing about this food is that it *does not* foul the water if used as described below (of course if you overfeed, you *will* kill your culture).

Just dissolve a tiny amount of the food in a small container of water, close the cap, shake well for 10 to 20 seconds and just feed enough until the water in your culture conainer turns slighly hazy. You should still be able to see the bottom of your culture container when you look from above. You do *not* need to feed again until the water is completely clear. That easy! The food literally lasts forever.
