No matter how experienced you are at hatching brine shrimp, you are occasionally going to have a dud batch. Power outages, air lines clogged by salt crystals, measuring mistakes, jars tipping over in the water bath or getting knocked over by the cat, wild room temperature fluctuations, defective heaters and air pumps can all contribute to a failed live brine shrimp hatching. Even if you prefer to hatch your own live brine shrimp, you just gotta to have some of these on-hand for those times when stuff just goes wrong.
The decaps are actually more nutritious that the live brine shrimp since the egg yolk is fully intact and not partially consumed by the shrimp. These eggs are easier to portion to each tank with the included free dispensing scoop, and no more empty egg shells sticking to the sides of the glass in your tanks or killing an occasional fry due to an egg casing getting stuck in the fry's gut. Plus you don't have to go through the daily, time consuming ritual of setting up a new hatching batch and collecting, sieving and rinsing your current batch of live brine shrimp. These decaps eggs will save you money and a significant amount of time caring for your fry.
These eggs require no special preparation before feeding. Just measure and add to each tank. Eggs should be stored in a cool and dry environment, preferably a refrigerator.
