Look at this filter go! CLICK HERE TO WATCH This auction is for six brand new XL dual sponge biofilters. It is without a doubt the best low cost filter I've ever used. This filter is the larger version of my best selling fry tank biofilter. This sizable filter is designed for use in 20 gallon and larger tanks, or you can put one of these in a 10 gallon tank and significantly increase its carrying capacity! Having two sponges on each unit allows for rinsing one out (dechlor water only please) while leaving undisturbed the vital nitrifying bacteria on the other for uninterrupted filtration. The center lift tube goes up nearly a foot when fully extended, providing major flow through, and the sponges are each 2.4" in diameter and 4.5" long for maximum bio filtration.
