Eco-Safe High Performance 30 PPI Reticulated Foam Material was specifically designed for Aquaculture filtration

Approximately 64 cubic inches of filter media area for beneficial bacteria migration and solid waste removal, one well seeded USF-444 could keep a nominally stocked 10 to 30 gallon tank crystal clear and in perfect balance! Natural slate bottom will keep the filter submerged at the bottom and also keep fry from getting trapped between the filter media and the glass bottom of your tank. The slate bottom also makes it very easy to move the filter around when doing tank maintenance.

The 6� lift tube is clear rigid plastic and is supplied by one of the largest Aquarium Equipment Manufacturers in the USA. Includes 6� section of silicone tubing and an airline connector to make installation simple; no fishing your airline through the tube trying to determine the best depth of the tubing. We�ve done this for you; which optimizes the fluid flow through the filter with a minimum amount of air supplied. This will allow you to run more filters with your existing air system and/or add redundant filters to your tanks as needed.

It�s always a good idea to have two filters per tank and alternate cleaning between the two; never taking the risk of disturbing the nitrogen cycle�.followed by ammonia spikes that are dangerous for your fish. In addition, the extra filter can be the one you are �seeding� for a new tank you decide to set up�.avoiding any New Tank Syndrome issues. Maintenance is simple and only requires rinsing the sponge every other week or so as needed depending on the number and size of fish in your tank.

Unlike other sponge filters out there, the best part about the USF-444 is that there are no parts to break, no suction cups that wear out, no sponge that disintegrates and needs replaced. The USF-444 was simply designed to deliver high performance results and last a lifetime!
