This auction is for 12 (one dozen) Deluxe Fry Sponges. I call them deluxe because they have everything included with them (even an air stone!) and all you have to do is hook up your airline. These filters are great because they are a small triangular sponge that measures 6.5x5x5" at 1.5" thick.  The uplift tube is about 5" tall and has a nipple to attach your airline to.  The base is weighted and can be TOTALLY removed from the sponge for easy cleaning. A perfect filter for up to 20 gallons and best used in fry tanks.  Use two filters for double duty and the triangular shape allows it to tuck in a corner.   Before You Ask! The most common question I get with these filters is "how do I get them to sink".  It's EASY!!  Just hold your filter underwater and squeeze as much of it as you can.  The base is round, so I try to wrap my hand around the base squeezing the sponge totally.  Once all the air is out, it sinks!!     Tips And Tricks! Here is a great tip for you!  Many breeders use these sponges in bare bottom fry tanks.  But some have figured out that they are PERFECT in gravel tanks, and here is why.  First off, since the sponge is more flat than square, you can easily bury the whole sponge under the gravel.  This does two things.  First, it hides the sponge completely and only the clear tube is exposed.  The second thing, and the coolest, you just increased the size of your filter as the gravel around it increases the surface area and biological filtration!   12 Sponges   Buy it now price of $35 Shipping is INCLUDED!!

Shipping Options I only ship live goods on certain days as nobody wants live plants or animals stuck over the weekend.  I ship dry goods typically within the week, sometimes same day. I use USPS Priority for ALMOST ALL of my live goods, unless specified, or you wish to pay the difference for next day.  Most dry goods go UPS, so if you have a PO box, please provide a physical address. I will combine orders that require shipping charges, and in some cases, actual shipping can be paid after the shipment leaves.
