Cholla wood is great for shrimp tanks, it provides shelter for the shrimp and it will also grow bio-film which is the preferred food for shrimp. Cholla wood will also add tannins to the tank which will naturally lower ph. Cholla wood is all natural and safe to use in your fish tank. Plecos will also appreciate this wood as it will provide a natural source of food. Cholla wood can also be used to attach ferns and mosses to. Before putting the wood in your aquarium, I would recommend putting the cholla wood in a bucket with really hot water and letting it sit for a day or two so it becomes waterlogged. Once in your tank the wood will naturally break down and need to be replaced after months or years depending upon your tank and the inhabitants. This sale is for 20 5” pieces. The diameter will range between 1/4”-1”. Shipping is $5.00 via First Class. Payment is via PayPal.com, please make sure that your PayPal shipping address is current before making payment.
