Pinyon Pine in Cypress Driftwood Burl 10" Long by 7" Tall by 3" Deep Cypress Driftwood Burls are just lovely natural driftwood pieces of Nature's Artwork. This one reminds me of  those wonderful solitary pinyon pines that would jut out on the very edge of a mesa or off an abrupt butte back in Colorado. As a family, we used to spread out blankets and gather the pinyon pine nuts.  Many years later, in the restaurant atop the Space Needle in Seattle, my Waldorf salad had a special surprise  - pinyon pine nuts.  Delicious! I remember climbing rocks and ledges, getting up to where I felt I could see forever, and sit a spell near a pinyon pine.  You could almost see and feel The Ancestors, the Anasazi, surrounding you with their music and with peace. The same goes for cypress driftwood burls deep in the Louisiana Swamps.  They too, have a history unlike what most have known.  They  have gathered their history with them over the 50 to 100 years, until, like this one, to become what it is today; actual driftwood.   We have gone into the Swamps ourselves, hand selected this piece as well as all the other cypress driftwood, from only the LiveWater Swamps. Don't be fooled by others with their live cut cypress burls or the black swamp deadwood that is gathered from the dark BlackWater swamps.      With Cypress Bayou Creations, you will find Life in the rich wood grains and classic unique designs by Mother Earth herself. Included with this cypress burl will be a natural stone anchor, pre-drilled for you.  That way, you can position your Pinyon Pine in Cypress Driftwood Burl how you best feel it should be positioned. Once it is waterlogged, you are able to remove the natural stone anchor for an even a greater variation of placements within your aquarium.
