Description

Dense Mopane Root Wood from Namibia Africa. Item #MAU 020804 . Measures 16x6" at its longest and widest points Measurements are taken from the longest and widest points. The root wood has been sandblasted and leached for 72 hours in running water. It is nice, clean and very gnarled. Each piece is unique. The root wood is called mopane, also known as cow fan wood. This is the root from trees that have had the sand washed away and have dried on the beach. Mopane wood is extremely dense and will sink when placed in water without needing slate weights. Picture is of actual piece you will be buying. We can process credit cards over the phone, via e-mail or through Pay Pal.
