This listing is for a LARGE (12'x12"x5.5") Flat Rate box stuffed as full as possible with flat stones similar to the ones you see in the pictures. I use these same types of stones in my personal display tanks and get comments all the time on how great they look. These stones are about .vary in size from .125"-.75" thick. They are very in length up to 2"-12" inches long. I try to put a variety of sizes in the box as it helps to have all shapes and sizes when building caves. I make sure to put some big ones in every box. The colors on these stones go from an amazing blueish green and grey to a magenta/purple. One large flat rate box of these stones will be enough to make an impressive display in a 10-40 gallon tank. If you want additional boxes, please let me know. There are approximately 30 pounds of stone in each box.

This stone is shale and may minimally increase your water ph. However, I had neon tetras (a fish that prefers lower ph) in a tank with these same types of stones for years and I never had a problem so I think they are pretty close to being inert and are completely safe for your fish.

I box these stones on site so they will need to be rinsed off before adding to your tank. I collect them from a remote rockslide located in the heart of Montana. The rockslide is 20 miles from the closest small town so the possibility of pollution, pesticides, or herbicides is pretty much nil. I have added these rocks directly to my tank in the past and not had a problem.

I ship on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and shipments generally take 3-4 days.

If you have any problems with your order, please, please , please contact me before leaving negative feedback. I am a reasonable person and I try to make my customers happy. Also, I sell numerous different types of aquarium related products. If you want to by several different items, contact me and I can do a package price for you and save on shipping costs.I normally answer all emails within 24 hours during the week and 24-48 hours on the weekends. If you have any questions regarding the items I am selling, please let me know I am willing to help before and after the sale. Thanks for looking and I hope to do business with you.
