Our BLACK SAND (CB0102) is ceramic coated to provide a uniform, ultra matte-black finish that is chemically neutral in freshwater. It won't dissolve; it won't fade. Our BLACK SAND can be used as the complete substrate bed, or as a decorative top dressing.   SUBSTRATESOURCE BLACK SAND will make your aquascape and fish POP! Pours in super clean. Granule size: 2mm. One 38lb box creates a 4" layer (approximate) in a standard 10 gallon aquarium.
