Offered here are 50 Alder Cones from a trusted west coast source I have used for years that are guaranteed to be completely free of any and all pesticides or chemicals.

Here is what a major Asian Killi breeder had to say:

"Your alder cones worked perfectly !!!I have been using them for spawning many kinds of killifishes. Almost every eggs was not infected by fungus. It is a great surprise. Thanks for selling good products."

Alder Cones are used in the same way as Indian Almond leaves. They have a milder impact on ph than the leaves and release some different natural compounds that help prevent your eggs from fungus as they incubate. No treatment is 100% but I have found these to work, and to work without the sometimes harmful effects of chemicals.

As I update this auction I currently have three petri dishes of killi eggs water incubating with a cone in each. The cones do a great job of staving off fungus, and I almost always get at least an 80% hatch when using them. In the pic below I started 15 Epiplatys eggs in each dish three days previously. The dish on the left was 15 untouched eggs on mop clips on a moist pad, and the one on the right was 15 picked by hand in water with a cone. Six eggs to date lost to fungus without cones vs. one with a cone! This product works for me.
