Description

This is a HYBLOW AIR PUMP # 20. It is brand new air pump that I have never used. I purchased it from Baylee's Fishees Supplies. I bought it as an air supply for my proposed new Guppy room, but my dream never materialized due to my unemployment. So this item is for sale, it comes with everything in the photos. I had purchased extra parts for this, such as filters and stuff, but I cannot find them right now, but if I do find them, the buyer of this item is welcome to them for free, and when I find them, they will be shipped to buyer. This auction though, is just for the pump and everything seen in the photos. This pump is complete, everything that came with the Air pump from Baylees is included, and shown in the photos. AGAIN, THIS IS A NEVER USED AIR PUMP, IT HAS ALWAYS REMAINED INSIDE IT'S SHIPPING BOX, SHOWN. I don't remember what I paid for it, it was expensive, so I am starting it at $125.00. Here is what Baylees Fishees says aboutr the HYBLOW AIR PUMPS: HIBLOW PUMPS - Quite possibly the best linear pumps on the market. These are linear diaphram pumps which makes them far supierior to regular linear pumps in about every aspect. Typical linear pumps work with a magnet that shoots the piston forward to produce air and a spring to return the piston. Over time, the spring wears out making the pump lose efficiency and pressure. HiBlow pumps do not have that problem because they work with a piston and two diaphrams. The magnet shoots the piston in one direction creating air, and then the magnet shoots the piston in the opposite direction creating air. Since air is created in both motions, and there are no spring to wear out, you never lose efficiency or pressure. HiBlow pumps also have a safety feature built in to save the motor. When a diaphram wears out, the piston overshoots tripping a kill switch that stops the motor from burning out. Replacement is a snap and we don't know how long they last, because ours has been running 24/7 for over 5 years and we haven't had to replace the diaphram yet! The case is cast aluminum which makes these units tough. You can chuck them in the middle of the street and you won't break them, but with these, you won't want to chuck them in the street like those others on the market. You can not compare the stats of these pumps to others either. Trust us when we say, these things push air. Of course it depends on several variables like number of tanks and depth of tanks, but a good ruel of thumb is what ever the model # is, that is your stone count. For example an HP80 will do 80-100 stones and an HP100 will do 100+. Now for the absolute best part. These pumps are ULTRA QUIET. No more spousal complaints and we take the small ones to shows and set them up in our hotel rooms and sleep like a baby. These pumps are Cadillac's of the industry and are even perfect for outdoor ponds.
