DOA Policy
Live Arrival/DOA Policy: DOA=Dead On Arrival We guarantee LIVE arrival on all on-time overnight and 2 day shipments. Live arrival guarantee does NOT apply to shipments delayed by carrier, weather or otherwise. In the event of a DOA due to carrier delay, the buyer will need to file a claim with the carrier. The Live Arrival Guarantee does NOT apply to 3 day delivery points. If you miss the carrier�s first delivery attempt, or if the package is left outside in extreme heat or cold, the live arrival guarantee is void. It is YOUR responsibility to be available when the carrier attempts delivery. Some livestock requires expedited shipping. Orders may be cancelled by the seller if carrier transit times are more than 2 days. See item description. Shipping charges are not covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee and are non-refundable, no exceptions. This includes the actual shipping charges paid by seller on items sold with �Free Delivery�. Guaranteed livestock determined to have arrived DOA, and at the sellers discretion, may be awarded as credit towards your next purchase or a partial refund. Shipping charges for DOA replacements is the responsibility of the buyer. At least three clear photographs of DOA livestock in the unopened original shipping bag, with at least one next to the shipping label, is required to receive credit. One photo must also clearly show the entire bag with the DOA livestock still inside. Video may also be requested as the discretion of the seller. Photos must be received by TM Aquatics within one hour of package delivery. Email pictures to 550Aquatics@gmail.com Late photographs or those depicting fish outside of the shipping bag (e.g. in a bucket or tank; out of water) are not acceptable documentation and will not result in credit/refund. Opening the shipping bag(s) terminates the live arrival guarantee, and without appropriate photographs, indicates that the livestock was in acceptable condition on arrival. Additional Store Policy We reserve the right to postpone shipping indefinitely due to adverse weather conditions. Postponed orders may be cancelled at any time. Sales within the continental 48 US states only; excludes Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. International orders are not allowed. I do ship with heat packs when necessary. Buyer is responsible for knowing local and state laws. Buyer is fully responsible for any and all penalties associated with prohibited species ordered and shipped to buyers address. WE SHIP TO THE SHIPPING ADDRESS PROVIDED AT CHECKOUT! PLEASE MAKE SURE IT IS CORRECT BEFORE YOUR ORDER IS PAID FOR. DOA POLICY DOES NOT APPLY.
Terms of Sale
All sales are final. No refunds or replacements, no exceptions. No live fish can be held for over 48 hours without payment. We do not guarantee the sex of any fish. Buyer is responsible for observing all laws regarding animal importation for their home state and for acquiring any required permits for possession or importation prior to completing transaction. Buyer is responsible for knowing their home state�s laws for importation of aquatic livestock, including lists of conditional, restricted, and prohibited species. Refer to DOA policy above. Shipping Non refundable, no exceptions. Buyer is responsible for 100% of the shipping for any replacements. PayPal payment due within 48 hours of auction close. Failure to pay within this time frame and without direct communication, will be considered a terminated buying contract. Message with any questions BEFORE placing a bid.
