Cichlid Care
Our cichlids are fed a variety of high quality flakes, pellets, krill and shrimp, based on the cichlids appropriate diet requirements. They should quickly adapt to your food preference. We don�t �Power Feed� or artificially color our cichlids. Most of our breeding stock is F0 or F1. All of our tanks are drilled and our fish room is setup for automatic water changes. We change 40% of the water weekly or better. Chlorine removal is accomplished via carbon filtration before the new water enters the tank. Because many of our cichlids are rare and delicate, we strive to achieve the healthiest environment possible.
Shipping Policy
We guarantee live arrival and prefer shipping on Fedex Priority Overnight. Check the shipping cost in the auction. Shipping on Fedex will be $25.00 or FREE if listed that way. Combine auctions and you will still pay only $25. We also guarantee live arrival via Southwest and Delta Airlines. Shipping cost on Southwest is roughly $65 for up to 100 lbs, Delta is $80 and you pay the shipping bill at the airport. At our discretion, we will issue a refund or a credit for DOA fish only, not for the shipping cost. DOA�s must be reported within two hours of arrival, with a picture of the dead fish. In some cases we will ship USPS priority mail with small cichlids packed in breather bags with ammo-lock and bag buddies to save on shipping costs. Typical overnight shipping would include oxygen and bag buddies. Be sure to ask about our additional cichlids in stock to combine orders and reduce shipping costs.
