DOA POLICY: All sales are final. We always include extras. We package things very well and live arrival of animals is guaranteed. DOA will be replaced or refunded at our discretion provided you email a picture of the dead animals in the unopened bag within 1 hour of delivery on first attempt, as per tracking information. Failure meet these terms and conditions voids this guarantee. Please make arrangements to be there for delivery, use drip acclimation, and be patient to ensure maximum success! DRIP-ACCLIMATION Place your newly unboxed shrimp into a clean bucket using only the water that came with the shrimp in the shipping bag. The bucket should be large enough to hold several times the volume of water that came with the shrimp. Test the water to see how the parameters differ from your tank's parameters. Cut some tubing (the size that's commonly used for air pumps) so it will reach from the receiving tank (where the shrimp are going) to the bucket. Tie a loose knot in the tubing. Start a siphon from the receiving tank into a different bucket. Tighten the knot until the siphon is just a drip, then move it so it's dripping into the bucket with the shrimp. It should be dripping slowly enough that it will take at least an hour to double the volume. Wait at least a couple of hours before transferring the shrimp to their new home. You may have to do it even more slowly if the parameters are very different. Keep an eye on the bucket so it doesn't overflow. If necessary, remove some of the water, being careful not to lose any shrimp.
