When I Started The Hobby
I received my first 5 1/2 gallon tank from my Aunt Gurtrude in the late 1950's and I've been hooked ever since. Back in those days all the tanks were metal framed with slate bottoms. How many people remember the old air operated hang on the tank filter? I've had some tanks everywhere I have lived. Currently I have about 70 tanks running with plans for no more. It's a good thing I have a passion for fishkeeping as all the water changes and filter servicing can get old real quick.
Fish I'm Currently Working With
Currently I have 19 varieties of Lake Malawi Cichlids I'm working with. I have fry coming up from quite a few of them. I also have 15 varieties of Lake Tanganyika Cichlids. Also, I'm into Cory Cats recently as they are quite interesting to me in their spawning habits. I'm open to possibly trading out for fish I don't have.
