Hi, I'm Kim, a hobbyist from Eau Claire, WI. I'm currently running about 20 tanks, and raise mostly Swordtails and just a handful of platys.
I've always kept and even bred a few livebearers, but a few years back I decided to get a bit more serious. After a couple of months of heavy losses of the inferior fish I'd gotten from the LFS, I got smart and looked online for other hobbyists to buy from.
I found Aquabid.
I disinfected all of my tanks and started over, buying only from reputable breeders, and keeping only the best for breeding stock.
Look for my fish under the auctions of my buddy Mysteryguy You will occasionally see a few of my fish here on Aquabid, but since I don't have the time to run auctions and ship out packages, you'll find them under the auctions of my good friend Mike (Mysteryguy).
Mike's a great guy - you'll love doing business with him. I pick the best of my fish to send to Mike for auctions - that and my limited number of tanks means there will be a very limited number of fish available.
So if you see something you like, bid on it! Photos below are of my fish. In most cases, the fish below are the actual parents of the ones you'll find up for auction.
