WELCOME
Thank you for reading my page. I have been collecting Tropical fish for over 40 years. My primary interest has always been killifish. I have had killifish from day one when the late Art Hayley gave me a pair of Rivulus milisi at the age of 11. Of course they spawned, and from that day I was hooked. I currently maintain 100 aquariums in my fishroom. I have never met a killi I did not like, however I am particularly interested in South American Annuals particulary Simpsonichtys species Trades are always welcome. I use to aquire all my fish as fish, but over the years I have learned that raising my own breeders is preferable to getting adults. My other interest is aquatic plants which I grow in a 90gallon community tank in my den.
ENDANGERED SPECIES
It would be sad situation if in the next few years that some of the most beautiful fish on the planet would disappear. I am speaking of Soouth American killifish. I have committed myself to preserving and distributing these marvalous fish. Some species are already extinct, others are on the verge of extintion. I am planning on devoting all my tanks to the breeding of SA. The habitats of these fish are, by nature temporary, but the constant encrochment of civilization into these fragile microecosystems is scary. If we are not careful many species will be lost, and even more species that we have not even discovered yet. Having said that, please don't buy them if you do not have a sincere interest in breeding these fish to pass on to others. I will help you with as much information as you need to be sucessful with them, you need only ask me. Thanks Phil
