Hello
Hi, My name is John. As my ad says, I'm a small time breeder with a small time fish room. I deal with almost only Corydoras. I do have a few other genes of fish, but........Corydoras are my new found love. I've been keeping and breeding fish for over 45 years now. I've bred Discus, Angels, and Africans, and I was also a member in good standing with the Michigan Guppy Breeders for some years, a club dedicated to the perfection of the Fancy Show Guppy. I began to work with Corydoras about 6 years ago now. I keep 24 different strains in my small fish room. My goal is to learn to house each the way God does in the wild, and do that well enough to induce them to do their natural thing for me while in my captive tanks. After 2 to 3 spawns of a species I sell off the breeders and most of the young to use that money to purchase another Cory in the unlimited line of kinds one can work with. Even though there are 400+ variations of Cory in the world, there are almost no two that are exactly alike in looks or needs. So each strain presents their own unique challenges in learning, which is why I enjoy them so much. Once you're spawned a Discus or an Angel, you can spawn any in those lines. Certainly not true with Cory. Anyway, that's who I am. I believe in treating others as I want to be treated. My word is my bond. If I give it, I will do whatever it takes to keep it. I only sell healthy fish to others that I have spawned myself. I am not, never will be, an importer or exporter of these fish. Anything you buy from me, other than the breeders as I sell them off, are home grown. Most are generally F1s as I try to find and buy my new Cory lines as Wilds. More difficult to spawn. More fun to work with because they are more challenging. That's me. Have a great day. John
