Me
Hi Im Jessica. Along with my Mom and Dad, we have worked together to make Jessicas Angels the best source for premium and quality angelfish. Unlike angelfish bought at your local pet store, our fish are top quality and are hand picked for delivery. The pedigree of our angels are of the best stock. We do not just settle for any old angelfish. We now have over 15 distinct angelfish variaties with superior health and beauty. Buying from Jessicas angels over the Internet is easy and secure. We ship either on FedEx or UPS whichever is the best price for your location.

Caring for Angels
Feeding your angelfish When you feed your fish, you dont need to give them a lot of food. Just give them enough that can be eaten in 5 minutes. It is better to feed them less food 3 times a day than a lot at one time. This will help you in keeping your water clean and you can take this opportunity to look at your angelfish for any problem. The sooner you can catch a potential problem the sooner you can start treatment. Quarantine your Angelfish Angelfish are affected by bacteria and parasites, as well as other types of fish. Thats why when you get any fish you need to quarantine them by putting them in a tank all on their own. And if you cant do this then you may have a bunch of sick fish. It may be a good idea to have some medication on hand such as broad spectrum antibiotic, internal parasite eliminator and something to help with hexamite and spironucleeus. These are two protozoans that are a common problems and an external parasite eliminator. Water Quality There are just three things to say. Water quality, water quality, water quality. I can go on forever about this subject. There is a lot of information out there. Im going to try to make it simple. The ph needs to be 6.8 to 7.4. This is ideal for angelfish but they can stand higher if you go slowly. No more than 1 point every 24 hours. And then theres ammonia, you need to keep this at 0. If you do this youll be ok. Ammonia almost always happens. When you get new fish an ammonia bloom always happens, so you need to do some work by doing 10 to 20 % water change everyday 'till your filter can catch up with the new fish. This may take anywhere from one week to four weeks. This is a lot of work. We all have to do this at one point or another. Also, about the nitrite. Nitrate, GH, kh needs be at the safe point. You can get test kit for fresh water to check your water parameters. There are a lot of filters out there to help you to have an environment that is safe for your fish. If you need help we will be happy to help in anyway we can. We are just an email or a phone call away. Our email is thebeebes@alltel.net phone# 606-382-5401 Quality and Size The angelfish that you will receive are of top quality and size. We here at Jessicas Angels try to go bigger than the normal sizing of small being the size of a dime, medium being the size of a quarter and a large anglefish being the size of a half dollar. We will work hard to get you the best angelfish you will ever see Receiving angelfish Before your new angelfish arrive have an aquarium ready for you new angelfish. It is best to quarantine you new angelfish from any other fish you have. They are stressed and susceptible to any pathogens your other aquariums may contain. If you do not quarantine them, you will risk killing them. Use your regular tap water when setting up the aquarium to be used for your new angelfish. Be sure your filter has ''cycled'' or be certain to have an ''established filter '' ready to put in when your angelfish are put in the aquarium.the angelfish needs to be acclimated to your water for about one hour or longer. Check for any problems that may have happen do to shipping . We have an live gurantee for shipping. If the angelfish arrive dead, we will either replace them or give you your money back (we decide wich one). All we ask is that you contact us immediately by email or phone (606-382-5401) and with in a few days, mail back (cheapest way possible) the dead angelfish. Just put the fish in some salt for 3 days or more, then put them in a ziploc bag, then mail them certified. This will be your proof that you mailed them to us. Acclimation of your angelfish Drip system for acclimating your angelfish : Start a siphon from your aquarium that the angelfish are going into, though an airline tubing , into the acclimation bucket. Put an airline valve in-line to control the drip rate. If you do not have an airline valve the best way is to tie a knot in the airline and tighten or loosen to control the drip. Do all of this for one hour to 2 hours then put one angelfish in your aquarium and if it looks ok then you can put all the angelfish in one at a time. If not then let the angelfish have some more time for acclimation. Do this till you get all the angelfish in your aquarium. Do not feed you angelfish for 24 hours preferably 48 hours.
