The history of me as an aquarist

The beginning:
I have been in the hobby for about 17 years now. I started around 2003 when I was stationed in Alaska at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage Alaska. I kept a 55 gallon tank with Tiger Barbs, Rainbow Sharks, Autos, and of course, a common Pleco named Fred. I found that keeping an aquarium was a great way to escape those long, dark, and somewhat depressing winters.

17 years later:
I am currently running two 55 Gallon tanks, three 10 gallon tanks, and a 110 Gallon tank. The first 55 Gallon tank is filled with six Angel Fish, two Dwarf Gourami, a female Beta, an African Frog, a Horse Faced loach, two Hillstream Loaches, a Knight Goby (Sir Henry),ten Sunburst Platys, a Common Pleco (Big Al), and a Clown Pleco (Woody). The second 55 Gallon tank is housing some X- Ray Tetras, Lemon Tetras, Neon Tetras, Black Neon Tetras, Albino Cory Cats, Sterbas Corys, and a Common Pleco (Little Al). The 110 Gallon tank has African Cichlids in it consisting of Red Zebras, Colbalt Blues, Yellow Labs, two Rusty Cichlids, two Blood Parrots (Gus Gus and Dory), and probably 10-12 babies. The 10 Gallon tanks are set up for a quarantine tank and Endler Livebearers.
