HONESTY and COMMUNICATION are key with me. I want pics that are real and of the actual item/fish, invoices, tracking numbers and fish packed WELL. :) PLEASE take into consideration the weather when you ship. Ive had several dead shipments of fish due to poor packing/no styrofoam, over crowded bags, bags filled with un-ordered snails in with the fish, and heat packs placed right on the bags, even tho this is FLORIDA and its usually warm to HOT, even in winter. THINK before you ship, please!
AB AHs n dumb dumbs and Haters, OH MY!
I have been using AB since 2003 and Im happy to 'call 'em like I see 'em'. There are the make-a-buck no life people on this site, there are the fish noobs who think they are going to make a buck and are clueless on how to ship, and then there are the true hobbist who are in it for the love and joy of everything finned and wet and like to see antyhing live arrive alive and who enjoy making a dollar as well. These are the people I want to do business with.(and Im happy to say have made a few locally based friends out of some of you) I have discovered there are a LOT of haters on here and even more folks less than knowledgable, especially when called out, not to mention the fish brokers who buy from one person like LOF and sell them the following week as their own...stressing the fish terribly, if your a bad seller you need to OWN IT and do something better BECAUSE OF IT. I pay fast (usually) :)-IF YOU SEND ME A PAYPAL INVOICE!!! if you dont I might forget-I dont go tracking down every auction Ive won to find an email to send you money-that's YOUR job as the seller! Once I get an invoice you WILL be paid within 24 hours if not faster. If you cannot honor your DEAD FISH agreement (if that happens)...then I make noise and LOTS of it, If I wanted dead, dying, sick and poor quality fish Id go to my local fish farm or walmart-Im here for QUALITY LIVE fish and LIVE plants and to do do business with CARING, HONEST, KNOWLEGABLE sellers and fellow hobbist. I will always leave feedback as well that reflects what you sold me, good bad or ugly, no holds barred. (usually good FB) :) I dont know about the rest of the world but I live 'out there' and do not carry my computer and camera to the post office and cannot get a picture to you within 2 hours or 1 hour of delivery...I can get pictures to you within 8 hours of delivery. I know shipping fish can be a tricky business depending on species and location, but if Im getting a box full of dead fish, it 9 times out a of 10 has something to do with how they were packed. Please be gentle with your finned friends and in the process you gain a repeat customer who sings your praises. :) I like all of my purchases to have a HappyTale ending. Thanks! :)
