My Shipping and Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy for Fish
Payment: I always contact the buyer within 12 hours. If I have not contacted you within this time frame, please send me an email directly or through Aquabid. If I have not heard from the buyer within 3 days I assume they are no longer interested in buying the auction. Please pay at least 24 hours prior to the discussed shipping date. Shipping: I have attached a photo of the shipping box. It is well insulated with foam as well as blow in insulation. The shipping costs will be quoted on the auctions themselves. I ship via USPS Express or Priority. Live Arrival Guarantee: There is a live arrival guarantee as long as the fish arrive within 2 days (the usual Priority delivery time). In case of DOA, please email me a photo of the fish in an unopened bag with 1 hour of delivery. I will either refund an amount equal to the price of the fish lost or send an equal amount of fish to cover the loss . For the latter, the buyer pays shipping. Shipping is nonrefundable in any case. While I will work with the buyer, the decision to either refund or reship is up to me as sometimes more fish may not be available to reship. The guarantee does not cover loss caused by damage by the postal carrier or delivery delays. The guarantee also does not cover any loss due to the fish being left outside. I use signature confirmation on all shipments.
