Hi, I have been in the hobby for over a decade now and have evolved from livebearers (your obligatory guppies and platys) to tetras (South American and West African) to the ultimate in freshwater fish, the cichlids. I especially enjoy the dwarf cichlids of South America, Central America and West Africa. I still have a special place in my heart and fish room for tetras and enjoy spawning them. I have about 4000 gallons of water dedicated almost entirely to cichlids and tetras (with a few catfish tossed in).
