The basics
I am a hobbyist with experience in keeping saltwater reef tanks, freshwater community, cichlid, and other aquariums. I've also kept many other pets, including dogs, cats, small animals, birds, reptiles, etc. I do not offer anything for sale as a professional. As such, I may not have the fanciest packing skills or quickest response but I do my best to be a good member of the hobbyist community.
Shipping / Live Arrival Guarentee Policy
I normally ship via USPS Priority Mail unless requested otherwise. This is the most economical method available and is usually very reliable. With a 2-3 day delivery time, this is perfect for shipping plants most of the year and fish/snails during the warmer parts of the year. For sensitive items, I recommend USPS Express Mail or DHL/FedEx overnight service. If you live in a major metro area, Express Mail is the most economical and reliable method available. If you live outside a major metropolitan area, FedEx or DHL is usually the recommended albeit more expensive method of shipment for next day delivery. If you live a considerable shipping distance this can also delay or add expense to a package. Please note: I do my best to carefully pack all shipments for live arrival and have never had DOA's on a shipment that was received on first delivery attempt. For items shipped Express Mail or Overnight, I will refund or replace (my discretion) any DOA's if provided a photo of the unopened bag at delivery. Shipping will NOT be refunded. Re-shipment will be at the expense of the buyer. This policy also covers items shipped Priority Mail in an overnight delivery zone. Some very sensitive items such as marine fish and coral may be excluded from this policy due to their very sensitive nature.
