About Me! Hello, I am a aquarium hobbyist in Northwestern Ohio. My general areas of interest are South American Cichlids and Catfish. I do a little bit of breeding to fund my hobby but my real interest is in display tanks. I started this account to sell the fish I breed as well as any fish I am looking to move on and share with other hobbyists. Live Arrival Guarantee/Acclimation Procedure
I offer a Live Arrival Guarantee on all my auctions that are shipped via overnight/next day shipping services. The Live Arrival Guarantee is valid only on deliveries that arrive within the scheduled delivery window. Issues from delays or mishandling by the carrier are not subject to the Live Arrival Guarantee, however if you have any issues or the package is delayed please reach out to me to see if we can work out a solution before leaving feedback. I want your fish to arrive safely, and for you to be happy with your purchase. In the unlikely event that the fish do arrive DOA within the scheduled delivery window, you must send TWO clear photos of the deceased fish still in the bag to my email (suckerfishaquatics@gmail.com) within TWO hours of delivery. The Live Arrival guarantee covers the cost of the fish, less shipping, OR replacement fish shipped at buyers expense. Acclimation Procedure: Due to the chemical reactions that occur inside the sealed bag while the fish is producing ammonia, it is recommended that the fish be removed from the shipping water as soon as possible. For this reason, drip acclimation is not recommended. My recommendation for acclimation is to float the unopened bag in the aquarium for 20-30 minutes, pour the contents of the bag through a net into a bucket to separate the fish from the shipping water, and place the fish into the aquarium.
