I grew up in the tropical fish hobby. in the mid and late 70's my parents supplied most of the LFS's within about 60 miles of here with mostly angelfish, but mom was someone who had to succeed at breeding anything she put her mind to, so you name it, they bred it. Then in about '78 Dad decided he wanted to do more than wholesale and they opened their own LFS (still in business today under owners my mom sold it to when she retired). I spent a few years out of the hobby, but got bit by the bug again, and here goes another wild ride with tropical fishes....
My interests
Currently I'm breeding Angelfish, and bristlenose plecos. Have a Pair of kribs who need to figure out their own birds and bees, and on the search for at least another species or two to breed, for now... (I've been through this and seen this many times before...I'll be lining the house with tanks soon enough...
