Love my Planted Tank
Hello, I've been keeping planted tanks for about 2 years now and its been very rewarding. I recently set up my 55G tank for the third time and its doing better than my first two tries. Its been a long road to keeping the tanks free of algae, and I still haven't done it but with every new setup Its getting better and better, Heck maybe after a few more tries I'll get it.
How I Got Started
One day I took my 2 yr. old daughter to the Doctor's office that had an aquarium setup. She was fascinated with the aquarium they had there. We�ll I figured I get her a little ten gallon and put a few fish in there for her to enjoy. Little did I know that I was the one that was going to get hooked. After about a month I got me a bigger 20Gallon tank then a month later it was a 55G tank and before long I had 1-10G, 1-20G, 2-55G tanks. I was always going online to read about certain fishes for my tanks and found a forum about planted tanks. We�ll after looking at the pictures of these gorgeous planted tanks. I knew where I was going with the tanks I already had. And its been planted tanks for me since then.
