Widely Used for Prevention of Fungus on Fish Eggs & The Treatment of Ich

DESCRIPTION: Fungus on eggs, Ich, fungus and some bacteria. Effective in gill disease. Transports oxygen. Some protozoa, sliminess of the skin and oodinium. Methylene Blue can be safely mixed, added with other dip/bath compounds... it has no synergistic or antagonistic property with any known chemical used in other aquarium medications. Packaged in moisture-resistant resealable zip-lock container. DIRECTIONS: 24 grams makes 2 cups (16 oz - 1 pint) of stock solution. Mix one 12 gram packet of methylene blue powder with one cup of distilled water and store in plastic or glass bottle with a plastic lid. Then use 1 to 5 drop(s) per gallon of tank/aquarium water. CAUTIONS: For aquarium and ornamental fish only. Not for human consumption. Keep out of the reach of children. Toxic to aquarium plants, as well as nitrifying bacteria (biofilter). Keep in a closed container and in a cool dry location. Use latex gloves and reasonable care when mixing crystals or using methylene blue solution as it will stain any unprotected surfaces.
