DESCRIPTION:   Chloroquine Phosphate is a replacement for both copper sulfate and quinine and it is superior to copper sulfate and all quinine salts. Chloroquine is used as a bacteriacide, an alagecide and as an antimalarial. It is superior in the fight against Ich, slimness of the skin and flukes and can be used as both a treatment and a preventative. This medication will kill the complete life cycle of Ich. Treats Cryptocaryon irritans (Ich), Amyloodinium ocellatum (Marine Velvet) and Brooklynella (Brook). Works well in the treatment of resistant protozoa and Hexamita. Packaged in moisture-resistant resealable zip-lock container. For use in freshwater and marine tanks. DO NOT use in reef tanks, planted tanks or on invertebrates (snails, shrimp). Always dissolve the prescribed amount of chloroquine in water before adding it to an aquarium. This medication is 100% pure, no additives or fillers. DIRECTIONS FOR TREATMENT OF TANKS UNDER 80 GALLONS:   1/4 teaspoonful per 10 gallons, once every 24 hours with a 25% water change before each treatment. A full course of treatment is dosing for 10 days minimum. 100 Grams will treat 1250 gallons. DIRECTIONS FOR TREATING LARGE TANKS OR PONDS:   Use 100 grams per 1600 gallons of water. Dose once and leave in the water for 7 days. This medication may be removed with water changes and activated carbon filtration. DIRECTIONS FOR USE AS A PREVENTATIVE:   Half dosage, 1/8 teaspoonful per 10 gallons, one time treatment for 10 days. CAUTIONS:   This container is not childproof. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical attention and call a poison control center immeadiately. Do not use this product with UV sterilizers or ozone generators. Remove carbon from filters before treatment. Use this product at your own risk. Use this product with latex gloves, eye protection and approprate mask This product is not for human, veterinary, agricultural or food producing fish use. Do not use with fish intended for use as food. Not safe for invertebrates. DO NOT use in reef tanks, planted tanks or on invertebrates (snails, shrimp).
