bioAquatiX Aponogeton Henkilanus   Aponogeton Henkilanus is a bulb plant from Madagascar. It is a large strong plant well suited for larger aquariums. The leaves are light green long and narrow in shape. When growing in favorable conditions it can form very long and dense clump of leaves, up to 24 inches long and 3 inches wide leaves. The oldest leaves are green, while younger leaves are light green in color and will turn darker green with age. In the wild Aponogeton Henkilanus is found in slow-flowing water, and it prefers some light flow in the aquarium water. The bulb might need to go through a dormant period for it to regenerate and produce new leaves. This species will propagate by flowering and producing seeds. All plants are sensitive to copper; Aponogeton Henkilanus is no exception.
