Winter is Coming !!!

Which means some of my outdoor tanks need to be prepped for the cold weather. That means I have a lot of surplus plants to offer you! I'm not trying to make a living off this stuff, I just don't want to throw away all these perfectly healthy plants when I know you folks would appreciate them.

So, this auction is for 5 small sprigs of rooted Java Fern (Microsorum pteropus) perfect for stuffing into crannies or attaching to narrow driftwood or small stones. It's definitely one of the easiest plants to grow and will do well in nearly any lighting. It does best growing on hardscape rather than in the gravel so don't plant it in the substrate. Instead, tie or pinch the rhizome to rocks, driftwood, etc. The roots will attach themselves firmly and it will grow leaves down the length of the hardscape. You can also leave them floating until the rhizome grows large enough to sink it. The photo above is a great example of the hardscape design you can do with these plants like no others. The photo below is an example of the plant's you'll actually receive. All my plants are snail free as well!

I ship most plants moistened with butcher paper but without standing water so they may be a bit compressed at first but will spread back out in just a day or so once they're immersed again. I only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays so I can be sure they arrive without spending a weekend in transit. Because these are so small and not a stemmed plant I can keep shipping at just $1. I have several plants listed and I'm happy to combine shipping!
