WATER SPANGLE Salvinia minima with FREE SHIPPING
WATER SPANGLE aka Salvinia 'Salvinia minima' with FREE SHIPPING
SHIPPING is INCLUDED in Price for 48 States (Continental US), ALL Box Charges and Handling FREE and Included! This is an auction for 2 cups (about 2 handfuls as shown in the 2nd photo) of Water Spangle aka Salvinia latin name: 'Salvinia minima' that I've raised without CO2, without ever fertilizing and in standard daylight. These are an easy aquatic floating plant to grow and are larger than standard duckweed and much easier to control. It’s a great floating plant that grows like duckweed, except better because if you want to remove it from a tank, unlike duckweed, it is easy to collect from the surface to remove or thin out since it is larger. It can hold it's own even when grown with duckweed and won't get choked out. Take a look at the 3rd photo to compare the size of salvinia with duckweed. If grown outdoors, provide them with some shade. The photographs taken below are of the Water Spangle Plants growing in a 55 gallon aquarium. They grow fast in warm conditions and are very easy to care for and can adapt to any water conditions. They grow much faster when the temperature of the water is at least 75 degrees. I use them in almost all of my livebearer aquariums and sometimes are used as food for vegetarian cichlids whenever I thin them out. They also provide great cover for any type of fry since the roots are almost 2 inches in depth. They are a great beginners collection of plants as well as a basic necessity for advanced aquarist. I'll send you some very nice healthy plants. Visit my 'Justme' Page for more info. I'll be glad to combine any other items you may be interested in purchasing from my farm to minimize your shipping cost. See availability list below for other items available. I welcome any questions.
*If you live outside the continental US, you can request an exact quote on shipping, Please contact me and specify your zip code and whether you'd like Priority or Overnight Delivery. Thanks, Mitchell, LiveFins Fish Farm, Brooksville, Florida 34604.
