Purple Root Water Hyacinth BEFORE BUYING OR MESSAGING ME QUESTIONS:�Please read all the information in all 3 panels of this ad�(Details, Shipping, Payment). � Clicking Buy-It-Now�means that you agree to all the terms stated here. � 15% Discount�Customer Loyalty Offer: If you've ordered from me before, I want to reward you for choosing my offers�again. �You'll see a 15% discount on your invoice for your sales total (all items combined), not including shipping. � About this item: Purple Root Water Hyacinth�(Eichhornia medusaepurpura). � 3 small-medium plants�(3-6 inch above water line). �Their name means 'Purple Jellyfish Plant' and you can see why. �This plant is too cool for words. �It was developed just a few years ago�by�a Chinese biology team�for pollution cleanup (it devours not only nitrates but toxins like heavy metals). �It reproduces only moderately fast (1/3 as fast as its�invasive cousin, the Common Water Hyacinth). �For some reason, the new Frankenversion also has roots that look like they were soaked in indigo! �(Roots vary�from lavender to vivid purple to near-black, depending on water chemistry and nutrients; I'm still experimenting with that). �The leaves are deep green, some slightly variegated, and oh--yeah it produces gorgeous lavender flowers also. �Babies sprout off from "arms" of the�mothers. �This plant�must float--the leaves�cannot be submerged. These don't need any fertilizers; they seem to thrive on fish waste or nothing at all, but may grow faster and brighter with ferts. � I guarantee NO duckweed hitchhikers, though perhaps a few water spangle and/or freshwater shrimp (fish num-nums!)
