Description

Purple Root Water Hyacinth

BEFORE BUYING OR MESSAGING ME QUESTIONS:Please read all the information in all 3 panels of this ad(Details, Shipping, Payment). Clicking Buy-It-Nowmeans that you agree to all the terms stated here.

15% DiscountCustomer Loyalty Offer: If you've ordered from me before, I want to reward you for choosing my offersagain. You'll see a 15% discount on your invoice for your sales total (all items combined), not including shipping.

About this item:

Purple Root Water Hyacinth(Eichhornia medusaepurpura).

3 small-medium plants(3-6 inch above water line). Their name means 'Purple Jellyfish Plant' and you can see why. This plant is too cool for words. It was developed just a few years agobya Chinese biology teamfor pollution cleanup (it devours not only nitrates but toxins like heavy metals). It reproduces only moderately fast (1/3 as fast as itsinvasive cousin, the Common Water Hyacinth). For some reason, the new Frankenversion also has roots that look like they were soaked in indigo! (Roots varyfrom lavender to vivid purple to near-black, depending on water chemistry and nutrients; I'm still experimenting with that). The leaves are deep green, some slightly variegated, and oh--yeah it produces gorgeous lavender flowers also. Babies sprout off from "arms" of themothers. This plantmust float--the leavescannot be submerged. These don't need any fertilizers; they seem to thrive on fish waste or nothing at all, but may grow faster and brighter with ferts.

I guarantee NO duckweed hitchhikers, though perhaps a few water spangle and/or freshwater shrimp (fish num-nums!)

Shipping is FREE for this offer. I will ship the packageon the next Saturday after your win. Saturday shipping rocks--you'll almost definitely get your box Monday.

EASY PEASY: I will emailyou an invoice and you can pay via debit, credit or Paypal. Make sure to enter theaddress where you want your package sent. I print shipping labels directly from paid invoices, not from Aquabid or email.

Regarding payment delays: Message me BEFORE BIDDING, not after, if you think you would be unable to pay immediately upon receiving the invoice. It's not about getting your money in my hands, it's about getting faith that I can go ahead and prepare your plantsfor shipping, buyyourshipping labeland pack your boxaccording to plan.
