This fish is around 4 inches or so. I haven't put a ruler to it. The picture is representative of what this fish looks like. Pickerel are predators. They need live food in abundance. I am feeding this fish young Heterandria formosa. Do not buy this fish if you cannot provide a proper diet. Pickerel can grow large. This fish will easily grow to 8 inches. It will do so quickly if you provide it with the proper diet and give it proper housing. Do not buy this fish if you cannot provide proper housing. I am keeping this fish in mostly RO water. It will benefit from softer water with plants to hide in. Pickerel are jumpers. Make sure your tank is adequately covered. FINALLY,,,PLEASE READ,,,,,There are NO GUARANTEES with this fish.
