These are VERY hard to find, limited supply. Do your research and you will see what I mean. Caring instructions is the same as regular MTS. These are about 1/4 inch in length, give or take. As you can see in the second photo, the small sized ones that you will be getting, are the two spike snails in the middle. They have a very unique and beautiful leopard-like design as you can see. In comparison to the regular Malaysian Trumpet Snail this is a very rare and beautiful snail. They feed off of many algae types, leftover foods, algae wafers and other waste. Using these snails as part of your aquariums biotope is extremely beneficial, and will help aid and maintain a perfect balance. This is an ideal snail for those needing substrates that need attention to get cleaned. They will aerate the substrate, releasing gases that may build up on occasion. They do not harm healthy plants, and are not as prolific as the MTS. And unlike regular MTS, they only have few off spring. They are a �live-bearing snail� and do not lay eggs. You will see tiny dots on your glass moving when they have had offspring. Depending on the conditions of their environment and the amount of food they have, they can have anywhere from 0-4 offspring per month. However, these are not mature enough yet to have offspring. You can see a size comparison to the full grown ones on the bottom, and the small ones in the middle in the second photo. They have a very unique and beautiful leopard-like design as you can see. The small and medium ones don't have such large and elaborate spikes like the full grown ones, but will when they are fully matured. They prefer 74-78 degree waters. They are a great cleanup crew.
