Description

Not your typical ramshorn snails. These guys are RED!

They tend to start out a hot pink color with a clear shell, but gain more pigment as they age, and a thicker shell. They only get to be about a half inch or so, but still "pop" enough with the red color to stand out. They can breed easily and occasionally the offspring may come back with the natural brown coloring. But it's very rare.

This auction is for ONE FULL DOZEN red ramshorn snails. The photo below has some of the snails produced BY ME, but they are in a tank with very thick algae growth, so the colors may seem a bit skewed. I have these snails in about 5 or 6 different tanks, but they all come from the same colony. Sizes may vary though. You may get some that are only a week or two old, or some that are already a half inch across.

SHIPPING will be USPS Priority Mail. Shipping is a flat $7. I WILL actually ship to Alaska and Hawaii, but NO U.S. territories (i.e. Caribbean).
