Description

First time offered anywhere in the world! You are bidding on 6 fish F-1, -1.25 inches in length. You will get both boys and girls in the mix. The Wapoga Red Laser is a brilliant neon blue on the top portion of its body with a hint of electric violet near the head. But what truly makes this fish remarkable are the three bold red laser stripes that rip through the blue field showing that it is indeed a very unique rainbowfish. You might recognize it as a fish that appeared on the front cover of the Rainbowfish Aqualog as M. praecox. However DNA results have shown that it is a different species. To obtain these fish we went by outrigger along the coast for six hours and then almost another 7 hours up the rivers until they became too narrow to go any further. At daybreak we started our walk to the collecting area while our boat captain broke camp. Little did we know that the river at camp had rapidly dropped and captain made the decision to move the boat before it would become hopelessly stuck. He moved it many miles downstream! After we got back to our abandoned camp we had to walk 5 hours through a jungle with no paths to rejoin the boat, arriving just minutes before sunset. I think when you see this fish for yourself swimming in your aquarium you will know that the effort was worth it. If youre tired of store bought crossed and washed out junk rainbowfish I have a better suggestion! Buy your rainbowfish from me. If youre tired of seeing auctions that are just foisting the same Far East wholesaler, or worse, FLORIDA crap as their own, buy your rainbowfish from me. You get what you pay for I raise and breed more species and location (river) variants of rainbowfish than anyone else in the United States. My rainbowfish are all raised by me and not imported from some offshore farm. My aquariums are carefully marked to ensure that similar species are not mixed up or crossed. So many rainbowfish look very similar when they are small so attention to detail is vital. You will see in my listings rainbowfish that have never been offered EVER in the United States. Youll get prompt and courteous service and youll get some great fish that youll enjoy for years to come. When the auction ends on Saturday evening I would like to have an email by Sunday morning so I know whether a PayPal payment is coming shortly or whether we are waiting for a MO. Payment must be made within 5 days after the auction ends. If I am shipping on Monday morning your prizes need to have a good water change and go without food for 24 + hours so that they can be shipped to you in optimal shape. Without the 24 hour fast rainbowfish can easily get ammonia burn or worse. Express mail shipping is $36 or less for those that live closer. Save some shipping dollars by buying more than one auction. Rainbowfish really need to have a lot of oxygen to survive. I ship all of my fish in breather bags. I really recommend getting your rainbowfish via Express Mail instead of Priority. Live fish guarantee only with Express mail. Guarantee with immediate digital picture of dead fish - in the bag provides credit for the replacement of DOA fish. Guarantee does not include the cost of shipping. Guarantee does not extend to replacement fish. Happy Bidding!
