Description

6 juvenile, unsexed, characodon lateralis. This is a very colorful, smaller goodeid. I have a group of mixed sex fish set-up in a bare 20 long. An adult male and female fish are pictured from that breeding group. The surface is covered with a mat of hornwort. They are kept at room temp(68-70 degrees) in hard Lake Erie tap water. I feed my adult fish Tetramin flake, frozen brine shrimp and frozen bloodworms. The newborn fry are large and are not fussy eaters. I feed them Tetramin flake, live baby brine and chopped frozen brine. As they mature I add chopped frozen bloodworms to their diet. The fish you are bidding on are approx 1/2" and chunky. My experience with this goodeid is that they are heavy feeders. So they really benefit from 2 or 3 hearty feedings daily with a heavy weekly water change(I do 50%). Shipping is $15 non-refundable on top of the winning bid. These fish will ship Tuesday 6/2 so payment is due at the close of the auction on Monday 6/1.
