Seven juvenile Xiphophorus couchianus, The Monterrey Platy. The fish are brown-yellow upper body and an off white lower body. They are small fish, about 2+ inches on the females and a little over an inch on the males. This is a Species Maintenance Program fish for the ALA and it is believed it may be extinct in the wild. ............................. .................. ................................
