This allows us to ship Nano Buddies safely and without the need for larger bags full of compressed oxygen. Heat packs are added if we know that temperatures will be too low for your Nano Buddies in transit. What does this mean for you? Shipping prices are lower and your nano Buddies will arrive happy, healthy and ready for their new homes. All weekly shipping is doneMonday to Wednesdayto avoid anyextra days in transit for your Nano Buddies.

Note - Please be available to receive your Nano Buddies. Do not leave your Nano Buddies waiting in their box by your door or mailbox etc.
How to Acclimate your Nano Buddies
Since Nano Buddies are shipped in specialized breather bags do not float the bags in your tank. We recommend drip acclimation for all Nano Buddies.
1. Empty Nano Buddies with the water in their bags into a container at least 4 X the size of their bag.
2. Slowly over the next 30 minutes add water from their new permanent tank until you have 4 X the original volume of water.
3. Carefully, using a net, remove your Nano Buddies from their acclimation container and add them to their new home.
In the rare event that your Nano Buddies don't make it to you alive and healthy we ask that you take at least two clear photographs of them in their unopened breather bags within 2 hours of arrival time. Please send these photographs with a short description and your order information to us at contact@nanobuddies.com. Our policy is to offer a refund or replacement of your Nano Buddies.
