You are bidding on at least 12+ fertile eggs of Aphanius farsicus 'Lake Maharlu' from a spawning group (3M:3F). These fish are endangered in the wild due to habitat destruction. The fish is also referred to as Esmaeilius persicus. You will be sent as many eggs as I can collect over the auction period. My fish are kept in water with 2 tablespoons marine salt per 5 gallons and they eat anything offered. No obvious aggression has been observed. The incubation period is about 8 days. The fry are large enough to take Artemia nauplii on hatching. I can�t take responsibility for eggs survival during shipping (but will take reasonable precaution) nor sex ratio of the fry. Postage is by USPS (typically 3 days to all US destinations using ground advantage post ~ $5-$7). Buyer pays actual shipping costs. Payment is by paypal.
