Description

This auction is for 2 PAIRS of the famous Chocolate Lyretail, Aphyosemion australe. These fish are from a VERY nice strain, real chocolatey, not all washed out like some strains of australe are these days. The fish you will receive are 3 1/2 months old, and are the children of the fish you see here. Folks, you should know by now I don't raise junk. Just look at the rich chocolate color on him! The youngsters are about 1 - 1 1/4 inches long and almost ready to start spawning. They are in my tap water, pH7.4, 150ppm, with 1/2 tsp. marine salt per gallon of water. They are mop spawners, and the eggs will hatch after 14 days or so if you water-incubate them. No fussing with soft acid water for these fish, they will breed in practically anything! I ship Priority Mail on Mondays and Tuesdays only, and you pay $10 shipping in addition to the auction price. Get them now, I don't have any more except the ones I will keep as breeders, so this is it!
