This auction is for 6 + 2 (free) Tanichthys thacbaensis, yellow Vietnamese White Cloud Mountain Minnows. They are 1.5 to 2.5 inches in length, full grown and about a year old. These are NOT tiny juveniles, they are adult breeders and I have never seen adults for sale anywhere, ever. The males have showy fins and the females have fuller bellies. They are easy to breed egg scatterers, just provide plants at the substrate for them to scatter their eggs into. Provide floating plants for the newly hatched fry to hide, otherwise they become snacks for the parents. These are not the gold version, they are actually more of a light bronze color, with yellow fins. My camera washes-out their bronze body color, you may be able to find pictures with better coloring online. My photo shows some of the group that your auction comes from. These minnows were tank raised in my home by me and will eat a variety of small foods from brine shrimp to crushed flakes to bug bites. Small food in small amounts means low bioload.
